AUB in Time is an interactive web application that documents the evolution of AUB’s campus from its inception in 1866 to projected developments in 2030. Designed for AUB students, alumni, researchers, urban planners, and the general public, the platform offers a comprehensive visual journey through the campus’s history and future.

It features detailed images, aerial photographs, maps, and plans, which allows users to explore the campus’s transformation over time, while also enabling them to contribute personal memories, photos, and stories. This interactive platform, then, utilizes advanced Web GIS technologies to create a dynamic and immersive user experience. By integrating historical and contemporary data with user-generated content, AUB in Time offers a unique perspective on the campus’s development. It should be noted that the platform leverages ARTSTOR for archival purposes, ensuring the preservation of valuable historical materials.
