Israel-Hezbollah Conflict

About the Project

The interactive web app offers a dynamic, comprehensive look into the devastation and destruction Lebanon has been facing since the outbreak of war on October 8, 2023 according to time and intensity. Powered by continuously updated data from Liveumap and ACLED, this tool is designed for those who need to see the conflict’s pulse up close—researchers, humanitarian workers, policymakers, and all deeply invested in the region’s unfolding reality.

Attacks are meticulously categorized into two primary data points: shelling and explosions/remote violence in both Lebanon and Israel. The app also provides strategic, high-level Lebanese insights through key statistics, such as the total raids recorded, average daily raids, peak raid day, and quietest raid day. With automated updates via ICIL portal  it delivers an uninterrupted feed of real-time data, reflecting the raw and evolving realities on both sides of the border.

The purpose of this app is unequivocal: to lay the groundwork for humanitarian aid, conflict analysis, and historical archival. Through its rigorous and timely insights, the platform sheds light on the complex and fluctuating nature of the conflict, enabling users to track its progression and impact with precision and urgency.
