About the Cluster
Projects in this cluster construct a layered spatial record of the American University of Beirut, combining 3D modeling, geospatial frameworks, and archival research to document the campus across time. From immersive digital twins that capture the campus as it exists today to temporal platforms tracing its transformation since 1866, these tools support architectural design, environmental assessment, historical scholarship, and community memory. Students, researchers, facility managers, and the wider public can explore, contribute to, and analyze the campus's evolving physical and institutional identity.
